Where do you work and what is your role?
For myself, aptly named: Donna Gee : Art & Design.
I work as a freelance designer so that means I do EVERYTHING - from consultation to concepts, branding and design right through to print and web publishing. I work from my Sunshine Coast based home studio, on the road or wherever life takes me!

What do you love about being a designer?
I love that every day is different (but always creative) and that I can work for anyone, anytime, anywhere in the world. My career in design has led me to a deep love and affinity for typography, colour and texture and has connected me with many inspirational people around the globe.

What's been the highlight of your career so far?
I am proud to be the go-to designer for a number of leading Australian independent record labels and touring promoters. I have worked for several artists who are at the forefront of the national music scene - Bobby Alu, Xavier Rudd, Ash Grunwald, Drapht, Dead Letter Circus, Mat McHugh & The Beautiful Girls to name a few.

I really love having the opportunity to work on the complete visual identity of artists I respect and admire, from Vinyl & CD Artwork to World Tour posters, Merchandise, Web Media and Logos.
